What Your Day to Day Will Look Like

Reporting directly to the Creative Director, the Graphic Designer works closely with all teams at SalonScale to support and deliver assets across various mediums.


  • Create high quality assets including website components, customer emails, paid social adverts, organic social posts and more.
  • Participate in marketing strategic planning meetings on a project-by-project basis.
  • Ensure a consistent, unified brand experience across mediums and channels including social media, advertising, website, video and product.
  • Work with external vendors such as printing and signage companies to order materials and produce designs to printing specifications
  • Working with Adobe Creative Cloud (illustrator, photoshop, premier pro, after effects, etc.)
  • Following best practices for preparing and packing digital files
  • Oversee photo and film shoots including pre-shoot conceptualising and sourcing and directing photographers, videographers, talent and locations
  • Forge strong cross-functional relationships for a thorough understanding of asset requirements
  • Web development or experience working with WordPress considered an asset

What You Have (The "Paper Stuff")

  • Successful completion of a degree or diploma majoring in design, communications, marketing or from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum four years of previous graphic design experience is preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Past experience as either an in-house designer or at a marketing agency preferred

This position is remote friendly, however the ideal candidate would be willing to work out of our office in Saskatoon, SK.
