What Your Day to Day Will Look Like

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the People & Culture Coordinator works closely with employees and managers to administer, coordinate and support the People & Culture functions. Areas of support include employee relations; recruitment and people pipeline support; leaves of absences; facilitation and or administration of training programs; assisting with compensation and benefits management; as well as development, maintenance and administration of company people policies.

 

  • Work directly with the Leadership teams on performance management and employee relations issues
  • Provide frontline support for employees (company policies, employee relations, annual programs)
  • Work with employee, managers and the team to ensure employee leaves are managed accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate employment contracts and Independent Contractor agreements
  • Provide reporting and analytics for stakeholders, as needed

What You Have (The "Paper Stuff")

  • 2-5 years’ previous experience in Human Resources
  • A post-secondary diploma, degree or certificate in human resource management or related field
  • Knowledge of employment/labor standards in Canada
