What Your Day to Day Will Look Like

Reporting directly to the Content Manager, the Content Specialist works closely with all teams at SalonScale to support and deliver assets across various mediums.


  • Support the execution of Content Marketing and SEO Strategy
  • Perform external environmental scanning and industry research
  • Create a variety of content to develop a consistent brand experience across all channels
  • Support and execute omnichannel tactics such as podcasts, e-books, whitepapers, articles, emails, webinars, and video editing, etc.
  • Support on visual assets that align with the demand generation function such as video editing and graphics
  • Support in the management of social media channels
  • Keyword research and monitoring
  • Conduct research on social media trends and
  • Support email marketing initiatives
  • Assist in the execution of community engagement, partnership, and PR initiatives.
  • Support campaign and paid advertising initiatives
  • Supporting website management

What You Have (The "Paper Stuff")

  • Minimum 1 year of previous marketing/communications experience is preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Commerce Degree with a major in marketing, communications, or respective field

  • Start-up experience
  • Salon or beauty-industry experience
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite specifically Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop or familiar programs
  • Experience with WordPress or familiar web programming

This position is remote-friendly, however the ideal candidate must be able to work out of our office in Saskatoon, Sk.
